Q : Please tell us about yourself & why you decided to work as a model ?

Nikita Aliess :

In the late 90’s someone mentioned to my mother she should put me in modeling. I was very thin and tall for the average twelve year old girl. So she did and at the time I was going through an awkward stage in school being the tallest female than all my classmates. I was tease about my height and the size of my body a lot. So as you can imagine quite naturally I was insecure about my image, and felt like I didn’t fit in. Modeling help me find my confidence, it gave me an avenue to be unique. It taught me that standing out amongst the crowd is something to be desire.



Q : What is the best and worst thing about being a model ?

Nikita Aliess :

Being a model helps you prepare for competition in the real world. In order to get the things you want there has to be a fighter in you that’s unstoppable a drive that pushes you to win. In this industry you have to have thick skin and be ready for strong opinionated critiques. These critiques can either break you or give you wind beneath your wings to fly. With knowing that practicing in the mirror on your posing and runway walk can only elevate you in landing a job.



Q : What are your goals as a model ?

Nikita Aliess :

My goal is letting little girls and women know being different is beautiful. My long-term goal is to grace the cover of many fashion magazines, cosmetics ads, and commercials. To see my face on multiple billboards in time square New York City.



Q : How would you describe your personal style? Where do you pull your inspiration from?

Nikita Aliess :

My personal style changes day to day depending on the mood of the moment. I can be glamorous sheek in the day time and urban and trendy at night. I pull inspiration from my own creativity and other people I see that look stylish.



Q : Do you have any hidden talents?

Nikita Aliess :

In high school I was a part of the dancing /flag girl team. In which I learned how to twirl the flag, and do majorette dancing.



Q : Please tells our readers about your singing passion ?

Nikita Aliess :

I’m a singer/songwriter and I have an EP that’s coming soon called Model Status and the songs are based on confidence, self-love, and empowering yourself. Singing and writing has always been a passion of mine since the age of nine. I grew up in a family of singers so it was only destined for me to do the same.



Q : Any upcoming plans as an actress?

Nikita Aliess :

I do have a monologue called “My Street” in which I played. It’s available to see on my YouTube page at nikitaaliess. I plan on auditioning for some roles in New York City that speaks to me; it’s definitely something I want to get more involved in.



Q : Five things you can’t live without?

Nikita Aliess :

I would have to say, my bible, my family, my phone, wallet, chips.



Q : Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years’ time ?

Nikita Aliess :

I see myself being a well-rounded internationally known entertainer. I see myself as an entrepreneur, an actress, charitable individual who love and care for people.
